Thats it...i will probably never see her again
Feeling pretty gutted right now and like it wasn't the right decision at all, even though i know i made it for all the right reasons

Also eventually sold mine at the weekend, very understanding buyer called Neil waited until I got the private plate off and then to get it through an MOT, ribbon cable problems turned out to be just the tip of the problem, almost £1900 later it passed successfully and Neil had himself my beauty.
Drove it to Swindon for him and on route still kept thinking am I really doing the right thing as it just felt so right driving it.
never mind, when all the baby stuff has settled down and I have realised I miss that rumble too much I will probably be back inspite of a very expensive 2 years of ownership; engine, gearbox, clutch, bell housing etc etc etc

Dont cry in your beer tonight Rob!!!! It waters it down. Seriously mate I feel for you. Probably best you leave these forums alone for a while whilst you get over it, unless you want to torture yourself. Your buyer could not have collected it on a better afternoon, but I bet HE couldnt keep up with me like you did !!!

Yep - I'm sorry for the heartbreak but it was a fantastic drive home, perfect weather. I feel like the luckiest man alive tonight (not just because up until Sat they had forcast rain).
As I am a newbie to the cerbera world I drove it as sensibilly and calmly as I could on the way home just to get a feel. The amazing thing was on the M6 all the other drivers were queuing to pull in behind be rather than passing – must be to listen to the glorious V8 soundtrack.
I know it has been hard for you and I really do feel for you but I am absolutely over the moon with this car – can’t wait until tomorrow. I have a 130 mile journey to work and I know when I wake up and think cerb, 406 or 4x4 we will have a clear winner…
Good luck with the bike – I hope it works out for you. I know I loved mine when I had them.

Well, i wanted to try something else so it had to happen sooner or later!
I am really glad you sound so enthusiastic about her, deserved a good home. The colour and the exhaust certainly dont make for a quite unasuming life, they tend to shout 'hooligan' everywhere you go...but you soon love and enjoy that (you dont buy a Cerby to be one of the crowd) You soon start to lift off in tunnels too ....you will see what i mean

What state was it in when you saw it?
I've warmed to the bodywork/paint... its a Cerb that has seen proper use, no arguments there.
Bit of a shame dads taken the side number holders off, it really does look like a racer then, perfect for his drive to work.

It was sat outisde taking a rest, sounds like Joolz is doing various bits on it. The side numbers do make a difference, but it's certainly a Cerb with plenty of character and definitely one to admire, it's driven hard and has clocked up some miles and remains relatively trouble free, that's a testament to it's build quality and it's owners.
