I've emailed Leven to ask about a badge for a 4.5 cerb. does anyone know how easy they are to fit. I guess its not a simple case of glueing them because of the way they operate the boot.

yes as SPants says 2 bolt from inside the boot, took mine off recently and repainted wth Hammerite paint, cheaper than the £35 Leven wanted (exchange basis), and didn't have to wait 3-4 weeks either.

Sorry for my ignorance - how do I get to the two bolts - ie is there a knwck to getting the pannel off?

Hold the nuts very carefully and dont drop them between the 2 skins of fibreglass when you take them off-or like me you will never see it again-so i had to find a new nut
Oh and when you refit the new badge the bolts need to be tightened just right so that the badge touches the electirc release button only when pressed.

Been there done that. I've taken the easy option - going to Leven tomorrow, they have a chrome badge which I'm going to do a swap with!!

Funilly enough gazzab I bid on that before looking on Leven's web site. I was the leading bidder (at £21) and was wishing I wasn't as I was thinking 'what if is not right etc..' I then got an email from ebay saying that they had removed the listing (can't remeber why) it all sounded a bit odd. First time thats happened to me.
On another note did I see you had a RR chip listed (or am i going mad?)

gazm, I was the other bidder (1st) also had the email from ebay, the seller must have been a bit dodgey!

To be honest I'm glad it was after looking at Leven's site - I'm picking mine up from there tomorrow - will let you know what it's like if your after one.
