I have one that I don't need. It should help remove the 2k rpm rough spot - not sure if it does anything else... I would ebay it but I can't guarantee it definitely works as after it was removed it fell into the footwell and my passenger put a wet coat on it!
Anyway, could anyone use it? I'll post it & you can have it for the cheap price of £0

It was dyno'd in July before Le Mans,@ 347 and 360ft/lb but with a sticky butterfly, now I have a new inlet fannymould (not fitted yet), new throttle linkages and my own variation on Joo's (TCS)throttle stop. Also a few other bits a bobs to boot, inc. a new type of oil filter (metal media) with bypass and some new oil coolers and my own stainless ptfe lined hoses.
That said I'm not into BHP figures, but I am after smoothness, reliability and usable power right through the rev range, the car did 191mph (origin b2 GPS) between Tetre Rouge and the first Chicane on the Mulsane this year, not too sure how much pedal was left as I was rather busy 'shittin my pants' at the time, but we were still accelerating as we braked for the flick, I'd like to think the 200 barrier is more than breakable with the right fuelling.
Oh and mine is also a blue one...kinda greenyblueysilver

on the Saturday before racing started at Le mans Classic, we bought a track pass through the TSSC (Triumph Sports Six Club) and ended up racing against a Porker and a Masser (not contest 
, we waited for the grid to pass us and then went hell for leather for two laps, only rule was, don't overtake the pace car 
oh and no noise regulations either

Cooky - quick question for you regarding classic le mans.
My brother has a 1973 porsche 911 which he has rebuilt and loves and had for 10 year and he got to do 2 laps round leman (at classic) as his car had been in lemans.
Now i know a tvr once raced in leman, does that mean any tvr can go round the track or just that model?
Do they let you go round every year? I've been to normal le mans a few time and would love to drive the track at classic if possible .....would be quite an experience, just wanted to know if this was still possible and how you book it?

Classic is every 2 years, and imho better as its nowhere near as busy, you can get pit access and it's generally much more rlaxed and friendly.
AFIK, you can only get the track passes through a club which is booked in for the event. mine about £50,They are bought in advance when booking the campsite and entry tickets...don't know any more, other than I'll be back in 2008.
entry to the race is lots, into the £1000's and very closely scrutinised, and reliant on previous entry. maker, model etc.
This year I went with the TSSC and one other Tiv, after the weekend, me n Griff4.0 slid away and blasted down to the south coast and took in the bridge at Millau, we hooned all the region for week wreaking havoc
over 2k miles all in all and the Cerb never missed a beat in 38oC +, however that said I did hit rather a big pothole on the way home and trashed 2 wheels n tyres
