Any TVR Indipendants in the Norh East?

My Cerb is due for a service now and requires some work doing to the syncro (which is i believe covered by an after market warranty).
My local TVR dealer can never fit me in for weeks and charges £75/hr + Vat. The warranty company will only pay £45/hr. Are there any other specialists up here that have a good history or transmision specialists that have done a good job?

Hi, I am in the same boat.. there are no indies in the North East, mine goes to HHC - it practically lives there! They are very good.

The last time i went in (6 moths or so ago) they quoted me £75 Plus Vat with 10% discount if you are a member of TVRCC. It was 5 weeks before Les Mans and they couldn't fit me in.
i ended up taking it back down to Sebring in near Wisbeach (3.5hr drive). they looked after me very well, but it is too far for regular stuff. Hexham Headless Horses may be more than that now!

good didnt fancy someone driving my car back to blackpool. I might consider them rather than driving the car down to Offords. It probably costs me over £150 in petrol. I take it they have a good reputation?

I agree I've had 2 dealings with them and they have been excellent. Great customers service and top job, they really go the extra mile. But £72 an hour is going to be a killer on anything other than small jobs.

Dont get me wrong , I have dealt with them and they were good but they wouldn't collect and i thought 5 weeks was a long time to wait. collection is important when your car is broken! and as mentioned previously an extra £30/hr is a lot.

it is a single car collection vehicle, both ways, i just checked.
