On a related note, I saw the Phoenix sitting outside Austec's body shop when making a small diversion from catching my Eurotunnel crossing back to the mainland again. Impressive as the bare naked shell already is, it sure looked like our man still not decided on a colour...

Strange. Surely Pistonheads was a useful platform for Ash and his Cerb? I guess people are keeping quiet re the status of the phoenix etc for some reason.

'Maybe' he got fed up with the mud slinging and naysayers on PH? After his last outburst on here when he was 'possibly' forced to make a public apology, why stick around? Perhaps in this PureGT place (if thats where he is) they dont question his reasoning for the Phoenix, and if they are like minded 'modders' they would appreciate that timescales come and go?

Unfortunately (IMO) characters like Ash, Towman and the like (love them or hate them, still characters) have jumped or been pushed from PH for one reason or another and the new breed of PHer (again, IMO) havent been able to fill the boots of those who have gone before.

Yes and then take your head out of a certain dark place

His outburst was well out of order and it was nothing to do with his own Phoenix project of which there has been only positive words recently from most members on here. He did apologise on PH but not privately, whether he was forced to do it I don't know and am not really bothered, the main thing is he was man enough to apologise, he also mentioned in that apology that he was going to "take a break" from PH for a while, so that's what he is probably doing. Regardless of peoples view of the Phoenix project it takes some balls to stick with and see it through to completion and for this nobody can knock him. He'll be back...........

As for people changing.......well that's life, some people cope with change well, others don't and prefer to be stuck in the past, it's a case of get on board and adapt to the change, or get left behind.

I'll take that hopefully in the way it was intended? You of all peeps are aware that when the bunfights started, as mentioned on the other thread, I was actually Ash's main target. No shit on my lug 'oles, TYVM

I didnt actually see/read that post Jules and have no idea what it was about. It was more of a generalisation of his rants in the past.
