4000 miles in the first year

I'm coming up the first year of ownership of my Cerb and I reckon I will have done 4000 miles in the year. I dosen't seem an awful lot (considering its parked in a garage for a week at a time )

How many miles have you guys averaged in the last year and do you think 4000 is too little?

It is too little but its more than mine, ive only managed a disgracful 3500 in the last year, but ive enjoyed em

15,000 since May 2005 , and that includes four months of the car being off the road !

I now do around 7,000 a year, but i used to do around 12,000 a year for the first 2 years of it's life, then i bought a second car.

MINES AROUND 4.5K ... not enough really but seeing as I live 1 mile from work
I suppose 4.5k miles of invented trips is quite a lot really!

(There a lot of taking the long way home!!!)

I haven't even got the excuse of driving to work everyday. Come to think of it I dont know how I've managed to rack up so many miles - the funny thing is I'd say that 3000 of them all happened within a 20 mile radius of where i live

althogh the guy in the Shell station knows me pretty well!

Depends what miles they are?

I do 3000 per year. All fun miles where its been my choice to go for a drive, and no commuting at all.

39000 miles since Nov 2004 so an average 19.5k miles per year....and I work from home

My insurance limits me to 7000 miles a year. I think I've used up 2500 miles of that in the first 3 months.

Just over 8000 miles in exactly 1 year. this includes a trip to Les Mans. enjoyed every mile and in all conditions including snow and ice. best to use it as much as possible, it think the car is better for it!
i use it for business as well cos' the company Pick-up bores me.

Ok, you can start slating me now...I've had the cerb for 2.5 years and average 1,500 miles per year!

My car is driven only for pleasure, and she is always kept in tip top condition, never put away wet and when something needs sorting/replacing it is done straight away without a thought for cost.

So my car is not doing a lot of miles but she is driven as often as possible and has proved to be reliable and not too costly to run, although she needs help to start when really cold.

About 9k a year, all pleasure - no commuting.

But,I'll probably blitz that next year as I'm planning three trips through various parts of Europe.
