Hi, can you help me with a couple of questions please.
1. Is there a passenger side airbag? If so, can it be turned off, and would a child seat fit?
2. As it's law to have a booster seat for older children, is the width of the rear seat sufficient to put on in, and is there a seatbelt?

Actually most boosters other than Tvr's own 2 piece job will not fit in the rear. What you can do is fit a Recaro Start in the rear (suitable from 9 months) and a booster up front. Failing that and depending on age of child, a lot of people (myself included) will sit 4 year olds and over in the rear and just use a seat belt adjuster to make sure the belt is correctly positioned - not strictly legal based on the new regs but as the rears are nothing really more than built in child seats anyway I really cannot see a problem. The long and short of it is Cerb and 2 kids is fine (until they simply get too big for the rears altogether).
Slightly worried about the airbag comments, you say this is not for you but does the person who is buying really know what they are buying into? If they didn't know TVR's don't have airbags I would be concerned that they may just be comparing with mainstream cars; not trying to sound like a nob, but a Cerb's not really a car to go into without eyes firmly set wide open.

only way is to test it, while I can get boosters in the back of mine....i can;t get the kids in behind me on the booster.
I take them out on small trips and the oldest/biggest just sits in the back behind me. The youngest on a booster on the passenger side.
Haven't tried a full seat yet, looks like it would go in the front. but not sure I'd want it too. If you're looking for car for the kids TBF the Cerb isn't the greatest! but it does have it's uses.

Here's the story (just to bore you)
My mum (now a nan too) wants a new car, she's just split from my dad, and doesn't want a merc any more, as I think it would damage her ability to pull?
It's not a car for the kids, just a car that could do with being able to cope with them every now and again.
My worry is that as she has my littl'un once a week, she won't be able to take him out (he's 1 on boxing day).
The other side, is that I don't plan on sticking to one child
so if she couldn't get another in there, I would perhaps want her to get something different.

What is the 'safety' rating of a cerb then?
Do people feel confident taking their kids in them?
I have seen pictures of side impacts...which prove that there really is inadequate side impact protection....
But it does have a roll-cage...so if it is flipped or front/rear ended will it be safe?

I take the brace of Fubelings out in the Cerb (in fact my 2 yr old throws a strop if we have to slum it and use the Audi 
)
With them onboard I drive 'with due care and attention' knowing my bloodline is in the car with me. I know that doesnt take into account for the idiots on the road who may crash into you, but thats down to pot luck Im afraid.
