Windscreen replacement

Anyone in the Guildford area had their windscreen replaced recently? Mine developed a crack at London Thunder yesterday...

I am bothered about the number of comments on the fitters having experience and knowing what they're doing so any recommendations would be very welcome.

I'd suggest you get it done through a dealer or specialist Ian as they tend to a tried tested fitter that they always use, saving you the bother of finding one. Tell your insurer what you're going to do up front and remind them about the need for prior experience to avoid costly to fix damage to the leather interior etc. Sunninghill were fine about this when I had the screen on the Chim done. I had to pay for the job and then reclaim the cost, but it was worth the extra bother for a top job with no leather damage.

Sounds like a plan, Steve, ta. I've just rung the chaps I use and they're going to confirm availability, etc. Guess I'd better get on to the insurance co!
