Burning Smell

I have noticed a burning smell of late coming from within the engine bay somewhere. It's not over powering but it d smell like a burning motor. I have also noticed that my Aircan no longer makes a clunking noise when the button is pressed. Could the 2 be related? I'm a little worried after the recent fires. Any ideas or is it one for Fernhurst to sort?

I would check the aircon belt I'm on about my 4th. Mine keeps splitting!!!
