Fantastic car, made the Brit GT races worth every penny. I think seeing the Speed12, Speed6, Vipers, Marcos LM500 and Listers fight it out on the PowerTour races of the late 90,s and early 00,01,s will last with me for a long time. So glad I look loads of pics of those fantastic motors , a great reminder of a great but short lived race series.

Someone sent a link to a mailing list I'm subscribed to of a British GT race that the Speed 12 was entered into. Pretty sure this is the Speed 12 and not the Cerbera Speed 12. It started off dry apparently but the rain fell so quickly and heavily that competitors hadn't time to change to wets or get off the track altogether before the trouble started.

It's at oulton Park, and isn't pretty (although no-one gets hurt).

I couldn't see either SP12's in there, there were a couple of Tuscans tho.

As a marshal, that's a very scary video. Good to see that the chap who got up-ended by the Viper got straight up and over the barrier.

On topic, I think the first car around the first corner about 2 seconds in is a Speed12

Sure is a Marcos, there were a couple of the 600's racing that year sounded great! The TVR's that got binned were the Eclipse and Roll Centre T400R's
