Hmmn cheers for that, right colour for me as well. Already have a Recaro Start which is fine but if this stays are sensible money (which I doubt it will) I will be in like a shot.

Yeah thats mine. It came with my mates cerbie and he gave it to me, but I dont want to tempt fate by having it in the house

What sort of age/weight of child would this seat accommodate?

I would guess 9 months to 3.5 yrs.

SBaby is nearly 4 now, and we're still using ours. Just the base, though. It makes a good booster seat. We stopped using the back a few months ago, and we haven't used the lap cushion in ages.

Its not a 5 point harnes, so there is no way I would put my 10 month old child in this. Before you flame me, I have one of these too, but I would only suit a child in the normal seat position.

That reminds me, I must put this one up for sale...

I think my kids were in my recaro start from 9 months. ie once they could hold their head up unsupported.
Anyway - none of these seats are 'approved' with reqd E marks - or are they?
