Speed six/V8 Chassis engine bay dimensions?

Hi All, can anyone tell me what are the differances if any, are there in the engine bays on these two. I am looking at LSing ( Chevy V8.) one of these. I know the RV8 goes in a nd these are slightly wider. But is the Speed 6 bay the same as the original v8? Thanks.

The chassis on a S6 is different with less room for engine capacity as far as I am aware. You wanna post on Major Mods and speak to Jellison and Shpub. One says its easy , the other say it is more involved?

Jellison has not put a LS into a Cerb - only SHPub has.. but Jelli always has an opinion

Personally - I cannot believe TVR would make a different chassis for the Cerbera (V8 vs S6) - different engine mount points sure but not width etc.. it would make no commercial sence.

Take a look on the classifieds - there is a 'project' Cerb for sale
for < 3K.

565mm between the two top rails which at the height I have here leaves a gap of 65mm to squeeze some headers through. Or I may need to go with the forward collector design.

This is a V8 chassis. If you want any other measurements let me know.

An SBC will drop in, headers can be an issue, depends on how you line the thing up, lower or higher. Anythings possible, ancillaries on some blocks will be an issue though, and changing the layout of the chassis compromises the structural integrity. Jon Ellison (jellison) is a bible of information, email him and get talking to him, he'll put you in the right direction and with his fathers skills anything is possible, last i remember, he is willing to help other projects out on a fee basis, or maybe even take a project on at a reasonable cost.
