Wiring for front lights?

Hi all, Just wondering if someone that's either fitten Xenons or done the light wiring conversion with relays etc could tell me where the wiring to the front lights runs?
Is it only accessible behind the lights or does it emerge in the engine bay somewhere?
So where's the best place to fit the relays and/or the Xenon ballast (depending on hich I decide to do)?

Thanks for that Lee, I discovered that this afternoon. In the end I fitted the HIDs to the dip lights (mine has the new-style lights) which was relatively easy once I'd taken the wheels off.
I mounted the ballast unit inside the light cavity, I made a bracket which hooks over the edge of the round opening and is held in place by one of the cover screws.
There are two problems doing this with new style, two-piece front lights: One, the 7.5 volts which feeds the dip lamps when sidelights are on has to be disconnected, which is easy.
The main problem is that when you switch to main beam, the dip goes off. And you can't keep switching HIDs on and off, they don't like it up 'em, and you're left in darkness anyway while they start up.
So I performed a modification to the lighting control box so that the dips stay on even when main beam is selected. I connected a diode between one of the main beam feeds to the dip feed, so that when main is selected it also feeds the dip HIDs, but the dip circuit doesn't feed the main because of the diode.
The diode is a 10A job with cathode to the dip circuit.
Thanks to a previous thread where someone very usefully posted the connection diagram for the light control box.
All works a treat, dip lights are great now. But I may still do the relay mod to the main circuits to increase main beam brightness. Relay mod not needed when using HIDs as they don't draw much current.

I like the sound of your mod to the lighting control box. I don't suppose you took any pics, did you? I have a wiring upgrade planned as my new style lights are pretty dim currently, and the fact that the dips go out when the mains come on does not help! I was going to sort it a different way, but this sound much better.

No pics I'm afraid but its a very easy thing. I actually did the job externally - temporarily. Used two Scotchlok connectors to splice the diode between one of the blue/while wires and the red/yellow on pin 6.
I don't like Scotchloks, they look crap and can corrode if they get damp, so I intend to open up the box and fit the diode internally when I get a chance, I was really just trying it to make sure it would work, then it got dark!
When I fit the diode internally I'll take a pic and post it here, meantime if you need any more details just ask!
