Center consul removal?

Can any one tell me how to remove the center consul on the Cerb.The whole part from the rear seat to the gear lever.

Remove the Helmet holder from between the back seats (Wingnut accessible from inside the boot) Undo a little self tapping screw on the drivers side, about level with the hand brake lever, right at the very bottom edge of console. the whole console can then be lifted up from the rear, and then wedged up in place.

Will that enable me to remove it completely?.Also i dont have the helmet holder but a speaker in its place.Will the fittings still be the same?

What i need to do is get the pad on the drivers side of the consul off as its starting to sag a bit.Need to get it to a trimmers to have it re-pulled and tightened.

You cant remove it completely - I can never see for the life of me how it all comes apart, you'll see what I mean when you do it, but you should be able to have enough room to get at the ficxins fr the bit you want to remove.
I'm assuming of course that you have the pre-requisite Cerbera Owners Octopuss tentacle arms.
