T55 or T5 how do you know?

Called TVR Power today to get hold of a rear oil seal for a 97 reg 4.2. I always thought the T5 was the standard gearbox, but was told I could have either the T5 or T55. Where could I found out this this info? Plate anywhere etc...

Never heard of a T55 and it sure looks like a T5 cossie box, (take the seal out and go to a bearing company, £2.50 if that)
