Just read the other thread. 3k for a full re-trim!! 
ive just been quoted 2800 plus vat from a local guy.
new carpets , head lining an all new leather.
cost is too much simply as I want to change colour .. even I cant justify that.
Just had my sofa repaired and was chatting to the bloke who did it (great job by the way!)
he said he can respray my spare interior and reckons the wear would be pretty good...
-so plan b is now to reduce my spare interior to bits - ie take apart seats etc myself
-get him to respray it all
-source carpets and headlining myself
- strip out old and install new with maybe a few small bits done by the local trimmer
dash top will remain in place - happy with colour and is stuck under windscreen.
other bits stuck under windows to be cut away and new items with finished edge to be installed.
reckon £500 for repray other bits tbc...

mine was retrimed at the end of 05 at a cost of £3300+ vat,the steering wheel was a different colour so a new one bought at a cost of just under £400,if i could do one of them shock faces i would.the guy i bought the car from paid this along with many many other thousands of pounds almost 25 of them,looked through all the recipts to find this info,plus i just spent 6k on rebuild service etc,paid 14.5k for it so that must mean its worth 49 50k.another smile
