Leven wipers - brilliant upgrade!!!

Have just fitted these - what a difference!!!! I can see out again

Well worth £60, although I would have liked to have seen a bit of extra tubing and two extra pipe joiners in the kit.

I did the Leven conversion some months back and suggested then that the drivers side tubing was too short. Luckily I had some spare.
I think this is because they assume the wiper tubing fits onto a mouting on the bodywork. I've seen this on other, later tvr's.

The Leven mod works great, the washing system seems better and the look is much better as the wiper sits a lot lower. I had to adjust mine after the new windscreen was fitted as they stuck the passenger side one back to TVR's original jaunty angle.

I didn't get as far as doing the battery.

I finished mucking about with the vents at about half past three and I didn't fancy replacing the battery in the dark.

The engine was wrapped up overnight and started ok today, although again it's not as cold today as it has been.....

I got some of the PIAA silicone impregnated wipers for xmas, which i've used before and they are amazing, they rainex your screen every time you wipe.

Had one of these kits fitted while at Leven, just about the best money you could spend I reckon, so much better that the crap factory fit

Killerscum - there's not a lot of point posting a picture, they look like the standard arms & blades.

However, having just done about 170 miles in the most hideous weather conditions, I can assure you that they offer about a 1000% improvement on the originals!!!!

I'll say, they are a massive imporovement, but makesure you have some spare tube, or keep the plastic from the orgional washer system to make a link, as I found the driver side one too short
