Must say it looks good, not to many chips on the front end and the seats look in great condition. Drivers side carpets are in need of attention and if the rebuild and service history are kosher, its not a bad buy. Needs to be looked at, check out the chassis and engine, see how she runs.

That`s Scott Gelsthorp`s old Cerb! He`s still occasionaly on PH with the name purpleheadedcerb. He`s got an Elise these days, so you might find him on that forum. Might be worth mailing him for some info ? He`s a top bloke who wont give you any BS.

What do the badges under the indicators say?

They look like dealer badges to me (like Henley Heritage or Harrogate Horseless Carriages) one of those, but can't remember for sure who had them like that.

It's a perfectly kosher car. It is a 1998 Cerbera so perfection is not really on the menu, but it's certainly a very fine car with a lurvely engine! You gotta love the guy's style when it comes to e-bay entries, and his feedback (for high quality cars, rather than £1.50 widgets) speaks volumes. Hope it finds a good home.

You know , I have lived and worked in Stratford for many years now and I have never seen a purple cerbera in all that time in or around the town. No cerberas at all sadly that I can recall.

I mean,paradise purple and a cerbera are two definite "look at me" attention seeking factors and I like to pride myself on my observation skills.

Should have gone to Specsavers I guess.

Box, outside, of, the, think...
As I write this e-bay listing has had over 14,200 viewings in less than eight days! If you look at any other TVR car listing they don't get anything like this kind of traffic. Sure e-bay has a bit of a stigma when it comes to cars being sold (certainly amongst the car enthusiast community - e.g. PHers), but this kind of listing and strategy - Silman isn't exactly new to this - seems to be a really exciting way of using e-bay more effectively.
There are several mentions of SP, and a URL link, on the listing so I'm not complaining
