Cerb rolling road day 24 Feb

I've just booked on the above day with Charlie at Surrey rolling road. The ad is on the front PH news page. Is anyone else going?

I might, had a "good one" and then a "bad one" running at SRR so far. If I can get around to getting it serviced and back in time then would be good to see if that is all it needed to get it back to being a "good one".

Mind you I see the bad jumper wearing, non hair brushing little bar steward has put his prices up by a fiver. If I want to pay £40 to be disappointed I can think of easier ways

Will try to book in for a service tomorrow and see how I go.

Doesnt matter at the wheels, the figures should be the same on each roller. When Paul last did mine it was 335.1 and on charlies it was 335.3 at the wheels! test done within 3 days of each other... Still all a bit of PH pub talk if you ask me, all about how the car drives. I could get 370 at the wheels, but not be able to drive under 4krpm... Mine is an every day car...

It looks like the rollers are in close agreement on numbers from what you're saying, so fingers crossed you make it.

They always were, had mine done three times twice at Austecs (old rollers) once at Surrey RR each time they showed figures that were within a couple of hp of each other. Even the 4th gear tests, done on both. (buts all old hat now)

Never old hat.......and only possibly applies at the wheels, fly was miles out.

Last Austec open day I made 385, then the next day at SRR I made 389, at the fly obviously. I've not done any comparison runs between SRR and Paul's new rollers. Personally I think wheel figures are a better comparison, because at least you avoid the differences in the methods of the drive train loss estimation, between the two sets of rollers.

Estimates are OK and without them how are you going to know its making 450hp , but agree that RWP/ATW is what is actually going to propel you along the road, so it is the most meaningful single figure
