...Cerb' ?

Since I've been thinking of getting one and I need to know how wide it is to see if it fits in the garage.

Max width and length please.

Cheers.

Isn't that just the best ratio - a car that's 50% wider than it is tall! hehe

yeah, IIRC Top Gear Mag in one the stat things in the back of the mag reckoned the widest/lowest car ratio was an old Jag XJRs - The supercharged ones from the mid late 90's great cars! Sure there must've been a few supercars in there too. Only rember this coz my mate had one.

Hmm, maybe it had a four door proviso.

The problem's not getting the Cerb into the garage - it's getting out of the car once you've done so. laugh

..... and he's not kidding. The doors are 7 miles long. An intensive yoga course is recommended if the car's going to be tight fit !

Cerb doors are 5ft long.

My garage is 7ft 9" wide and I can get in and out no problem.

With the drivers door open wide enough to get in and out the width of the car is 93" from passenger mirror outside edge to open edge of drivers door.

My garage walls are well protected by soft carpet underlay just in case.

Simon

Trouble is most modern garages are only 2'6" wide.

Get some spare carpet

Line the walls of the garage

Dangle a balled up sock from the rafters so it hits the windscreen at the time you have to stop.

easy.

Oh and a Cerbera is 14' 1" long in proper measurements

Phew, I thought that was going to get a bit saucy when the mention of 'balled up socks' was made

Hi, looking to get a Cerb, but I want to make sure it fits in the garage, and I can get in and out of it once its in there.
My interior garage dimensions are:
4400mm long
2450mm wide
2050mm garage door width

From Simon's post above, 93" (236cm) from the passenger side mirror to edge of the open drivers door, suggests that I should be able to get in and out of a Cerb? Am I right?

If so, that's great news, more money to the car fund because I don't need a new garage!

Many thanks!

IIRC there's one or two on here who have to get out the car and push the car in the last few feet. Doesnt seem to worry them much

Just buy it!

Even if you can't fit the Cerbera in your garage you should still buy it.

Life's too short not to get to enjoy one of these insane cars.

Mine's made of chocolate (well it must be as something seems to melt on it if the sun shines) and I still love it.

I just wish I could use it all the times I need to go somewhere.
