Hi i'm looking for some new floor mats for my cerbera i was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction? I have searched on the net but no real luck.Mine are navy blue with magnolia trim. ideally i would like them to have metal heel plates and the cerbera logo on them.

My carpets are a purple colour (sort of mid purple). I guess it is a complete carpet change if I want mats. Do these ones lay on top of the carpet or replace the carpet underfoot?

There was a set of aluminium chequered-plate mats in mine when I got it.

I was going to throw them out but they're still in there and are likely to stay.

They are brilliant, a wipe of a cloth and they are like new again.

Don't I sound very domesticated eek

Hi Gazzab, I would be quite happy to just purchase the overmats, as the ones that are in it now are just the standard ones that are part of the carpet of the whole car, I really just want to protect these from wearing anymore.

Hi Ireland, thanks for your reply, I have seen some of the complete chequered plated mats and did think they looked really smart, but i was hoping to try and add a bit of the carpet colour too. Do you find they slippery if its a wet day and you get in with wet shoes on??

Not to the extent that it is ever a problem.

I don't find my feet slipping when I go for the pedals or anything like that.

Like I said, I had planned to throw them out but now I reckon they are in there to stay.

I'd say the ones in mine were cut by some engineering works from a cardboard template, or similar, as they definitely weren't laser-cut as you'd expect with "factory" items.

My drivers side overmat was looking very tired with the plastic heel protector containing large tears and actually getting a little dangerous as my heel kept catching. I've replaced the plastic with a ally heel plate from Level. £60, but it does look good. And since it's slightly larger than the old plastic protector, I've managed to hide some of the wear just outside the plastic part.

Another plus for Autostyle
www.autostyle.co.uk/

I bought mine from here and have put them over the top but they are easilt thick enough to act as replacements for the originals if required. The fit is excellant and the quality is superb and I was surprised with their thickness.

I was so impressed I bought a set from these people for my Son's Focus.

I got mine from Autostyle also and would recommend them.
I use them as overmats.
You can build up your own spec on their website.

Anyone got pictures of these mats fitted, can tey really be used as replacements rather than just overmats too confused

Also did anyone go for the ally heel pads & Cerbera logos, if so what position did you get the logos in, what do they look like in the car confused. Are they good fits what about the rears confused

So many questions, I suppose at only £60 a pop it doesn't really matter hehe

I used mine as direct replacements. The fit is the same as th original carpets but better due to the fact the carpet is stiffer so you dont get the typical scrunched up carpet of the original.I had mine done with the TVR logo on them.

I put mine over the top but they are so think I was thinking of just replacing them as my originals have started fluffing with use. They are exactly the right fit and almost as think as the originals plus the stuck on backing/soundproffing.

I didn't have the logo, or the alloy plates but had the carpeted pads. They are really think and work well. I'll try and grab some photo's tomorrow evening.

Right folks, just searched and found this thread.....

I'm going to go for the logos on the sides.

http://www.autostyle.co.uk/designer_car_mats.asp

Any recomendations on whether to go for the carpet or metal inserts please ?

I'm worried the metal inserts will look to "max power"

Those metal platesa with holes in wear a bit funny after a while, get any mud in there and it tends to ruin the carpet in the holes. If you tend to keep your car clean then they should be ok.

Not sure what I'd chose, fabric won't ruin your shoes but will compress over time and could look ratty. Then again it's so far down the footwell you'd not see the wear.

Metal inserts look a bit maxpowerish.Phone them direct and get the exact design you want.

I went with the carpet. Every mat I've ever had with metal plates, the plates soon come out leaving holes.
