Soo much more power

I've worked out how to get a lot more power,

I moved my forward and can press the pedal all the way down!!!

I feel like a muppet I've been driving for so long only using 2/3 of the travel!!!!!!!!

That's the reason I sit so far forward when driving (as I'm too short for my weight ) so I can get "the pedal to the metal" - well GRP or whatever.

I did the same thing in my first cerb.
I am a smidgen under 6ft but I still look like I am too close to the wheel ! I find that the best driving position for me is where
My left leg has a slight bend left in it when clutch depressed and with my shoulders back I can stretch my hands out so that my wirsts sit on top of the steering wheel with arms at full stretch. When in that position my seat is quite far forward and is also quite upright.

I assume the missing word in the first post is "seat".

I actually have the seat pulled forward a bit more than I'd normally have it.

This was originally so my kids could fit in the back but I've found it does allow me to make sure the clutch pedal is fully depressed and I'm sure anything that helps the clutch itself can only be a good thing.

I do have the back of the seat slanted back a good bit to give me enough arm-space.

Does the throttle really need to be so long? Would be a trivial task to shorten it at the reduction of throttle finesse but you'd just have to "tread carefully", as it were.

Don't forget the pedals are adjustable too so you can get the seat where you want and then adjust the pedals to the required length of your legs

As standard, only clutch and brake are adjustable. A leven upgrade is available which, in conjunction with their stanless steel pedals, makes the throttle adjustable too. I fitted this and it makes a big difference to a vertically challenged driver such as myself. I no longer have to sit with my face in the steering wheel in order to get full travel on the right hand pedal.
