2 Cat D Cerbs on Autotrader

Guys and Girls,

There are two cheap Cat D cerb 4.5's on Autotrader and I was wondering if anyone knows their history..

LTV3 and H5TUH are their current plates...

Look pretty cheap - the nearest 4.5 on there (non cat D) is £15995.
BUT I reckon a clean 4.5 with incomplete history (non CAT D) could probably be had for 12 - 13K if you wait and look etc.. So suddenly those ones dont look cheap (ie should be 33% cheaper than non CAT D) UNLESS they are totally immaculate with good history (bar CAT D).

Having had quick look at the VRM, perhaps if he put in "12 previous owners", he could cut his time wasters down to hardly nothing

How can you find out what caused it to become classified as cat D? I mean, if it were stolen and the insurer paid out for it, and *then* it was recovered, that could cause a cat D classification and that could mean the car is perfectly OK.

I always value the V car's at half price.

The nause of trying to get rid of them afterwards is a pain.

The guy in that advert hasn't even put the mileage down. No wonder he's getting people asking questions.

I'm trying to think of his ideal punter......."oo ooh, I need a Cerbera today, condition & mileage no problem, as long as it's less than ten grand"

And the funniest part of his ad...."hurry up as it probably wont be here next week"

With an advert like that, swap the word "week" for "year"
