BRIDGESTONE S02 anyone??

I know nothing about tyres, compounds etc...but I have S03's fitted and fairly new ones at that, and I feel very uneasy in the wet. Have gone sideways several times after some very moderate acceleration in the wet - in second gear!! may not be the tyres fault, probably just my crap driving. But they do feel floaty in the wet.
Or is it just me?

No more tramlining! Wow... that would be magical. Might have a look into Toyo's. What do you have?
I cant remember what my Toyos are !! And it is snowing so I am not going out to have a look. !
THere are plenty of other tyres recommended by people on here. The Toyos are a pretty safe bet though, particularly if you are in Japan as you can get em cheaper?
I have the Toyos that were made for TVR specifically but I am sure the standard Toyos are much the same.

I've got Toyo T1-S (front) and T1-R (rear) on mine. Which I've found to be an admiral replacement for the old SO-2. (T1-R is gradually replacing the T1-S)
T1-S was the standard TVR fitment when they went over to Toyos, iirc.

. They are a lot of 'ricers' tyre of choice too, so should be readily available there and not too expensive.ridds said:
Had a set of Falkens once. The most dangerous things I've ever driven on. Hope they've changed the compounds now as the ones I had were leathal in the wet.
First bad word I've seen re the Falkens, the 451 I assume which have been superceded by the 452. Tyres are a funny thing with most having differing opinions on them, me I hated and felt the GY F1 were more dangerous than a dangerous thing
and absolutely loved the the SO3's for their stiff side wall and feedback 
. OT I have pair of 245/45/16 SO2's & a pair of 225/45/16 SO3's all with tread attached to a set of Oz Saturns if anyones looking for them
