great to be back on the forum after 9 months without a compt. after 4 yrs owning my cerb i would like to make it sound better. does fitting a sports exhaust effect performance? what about de-cating? and what about the mot? and what sort of money are we talking about?

I have a sports exhaust plus linked decats, give me a mail.
You will need to put the cat's back in for the MOT, unless you know someone.
Idealy you would need a remap, if your car is currently standard, then I would of thought you will find power and without doubt it will drive much smoother.
Might even have a short induction kit to throw into the package.

If you just want more noise, buy Nick's exhaust system. If you can stretch to it, go for a big bore exhaust and a remap.

Plus you also have a pair of trackday silencers, which are sitting in my garage (unused, of course )
