rad brass nut washer

attempted to get air out of water system, gona have to do it properly at weekend. whilst doing lost the washer for the brass nut that comes out of the radiator. is this 100% essential will get it replaced eventually. does it have to be brass?

also im gona drain system and re-fill anyone know how much antifreeze to put in system?

You will need the brass nut - Go to Halfords they sell a selection.
Theres about 6L of coolant in the Cerb (I think). Mix the antifreeze 50/0 or accorsing to the instructions on the can. I use the Halfords Advanced one.

Mine is some cheap white plastic crappy thing with a rubber washer. It works a treat but I have to be very careful when tightening so as to not strip the thread. Would love to get a brass one though.
