Rear Number Plate Illumination

Should the rear number plate have a certain type of backing so that it lights up properly?

It must be the backlit type - more properly referred to as "translucent". You should have no problem sourcing them. Most of the on-line companies do them too.

When I re-registered mine over here I got a sign company to make the back one for me from the material they use for lightbox signs.

It works perfectly.

As an aside...

Are your windows tinted black Ross, as they look it in the picture on your profile.

Even if its a trick of the light, I think that they look quite good tinted.

I think the light shade of tints look well on the Cerbs.

Dan who used post on here in their pre-writeoff days had a yellow one with a light tint and it looked the business.

Yeh I think its bout medium tint. was done before i bought it! But there has been many comments as to it finishing the car off.
