Engine accenting

I'm thinking of accenting the engine bay slightly, nothing major, just a red fuel rail with the existing writing done in black.

Thoughts?

What would be the best paint to withstand the heat and vibration?

i have used hammerrite(smooth) paint when ive dont brake calipers and it takes the heat no bother

Its all hidden, so its not chav-tastic, but do it right and the engine bay will be a sight for sore eyes... i think a few have already done the neons in the engine bay job, great help on those nights the car dont start and the torch aint working...

It's a 4.2 so the fuel rail is not hidden. But there shall be no bling in my engine bay. I am not going to degrade my Cerb like that. Anything that can be bought at the Halfords ripspeed / bolt on department is not for a TreVoR.

You're gonna hate mine when it's done then. Actually, you may not, I'm doing it as 'tastefully' as possible, but still a bit different, like the sandblasted AJP8 logo and amethyst-black paint to compliment the body colour.

The logo is sandblasted into the metal. I firstly cut a stencil on my vinyl cutter then blast the logo using a garnet medium. I've laquered the whole thing to keep it nice and shiny.

It's going to be a while before it's all back together, but it should look good and not too bling when it's done.

A cerb is a car, just like any other, its a peice of cheap plastic over a cheap frame, with bits of B&Q in there everywhere, so why the f'ck would it matter? lol
In most cases the bling-bling costs more than the car! lol

tbh, I'm all for anything being done to any car, unelss it clashes with function! afterall, once you buy, you own and have right to do whatever your mind conjures and pockets permit...
