What battery conditioners?

Hi, just wonder what battery conditioners people use or would recommend, i was thinking of the optimate but then came across this CTEK 3600 Battery Charger and Conditioner, What are your comments, need to get the Cerb ready for the nice weather.

Halfords own, less than £20.
Been using it for several months and it's just fine.

Cant go wrong with an Accumate......... I had my Cerb plugged in whenever she was in the garage and I didn't have a starting problem in over 2 years of ownership.

IIRC the Optimate is designed more for bike batteries.

Accumate for me as well.
Only ever had 1 problem.... I reversed down my drive and forgot to unplug the cable from under the bonet! No damage was done thankfully. So my top tip is to make sure you unplug it first before driving off!

I also had the Halfords one but sold it on ebay and got an Accumate. I reasoned that many people on here leave theirs hooked up to an Accumate all the time so it was unlikely to cause problems. But the Halfords one was an unknown.
