What size rear seat passenger?

To avoid regular weekend family arguments about who goes out in the Chim, it seems I need to get a Cerbie as, theoretically, it can carry more than one passenger. It just depends on how much of a +2 it is

So, bearing in mind front seat fore/aft adjustment, will a rear seat passenger of about 5’4” (and 13 yrs old so still flexible) be able to fit in reasonable comfort without any physical pain, dislocation, cramps etc? The front seat passenger will also be about the same size so could move the seat forward a tad.

Looking at the slope of the rear screen, this seems like it might be the biggest problem.

Yep easy peasy, as long as the front seat passenger isn't fourteen foot tall. I have had a six footer in the back of mine, behind a 5"10 - okay you're not going to want to cross continents in it, but it's doable. May differ in the later cars though - in the early ones it's relatively easy to put knees round the side of the seats. As for the back window, the rear buckets are fairly deep, so there's a suprising amount of clearance of the rear screen.

Best option is to pop down to a dealer and try it!

Should be fine. Why dont you simply go and test one at a dealer? They are really a 3 + 1.

I'm 5' 7" so have the drivers seat reasonable far forward when driving. This means there's a lot of room behind both the drivers seat and the passenger seat (the missus is 5' 4"

My daughters 5 foot and my youngest is 9 years old so at the moment it works really well for us.

I'm 5'11" and we can manage two adults and two kids (one 5'4" and one 4'8" so you should be fine.

I've never been able to get more than two people in comfortably.

Although there's plenty of space in the boot for a body.......

I'm 6', my wife's 5'9 and our 9 and 11 year old are reasonable tall for their ages.
Anything more than a short trip is an absolute no no, and when we do pull up at the pub
on a sunday lunch time - the doors open and we all fall out (very uncool).The four of us
then hobble into the pub like wizened old ladies holding our backs. Enough said.

Used to take my two elder daugters to school in mine a few years back. 5'10" and 6'5". They had to fold up a little but they never complained, well not much.
