That time again - service is due

Hi all
Its service time again and i am looking for a more local service agent to get it done ( I like collecting stamps ) Most of the work I do myself but like to keep the service book up to date so I need to get it serviced, problem is I'm looking for a nearer service agent to me ( Royston Herts ) Any recommendations out there? I think Offord are the nearest, has any one used them? Anybody else I could use, not fussy about using an official TVR dealer, a recommended indi will do fine.

I currently have my cerb in for a 12 month service at Offord, expecting to pick it up at 4 today (Wed). This is the third year I have been to them and I recommend them highly. Like yourself, I enjoy doing the less specialist jobs on the car at home but want to keep my service record stamps up to date and find Simon and co very understanding about my amateur meddlings. In the past, I have found main dealers a bit sniffy at this, wanting to do absolutely everything themselves(at their prices!) to keep the car absolutley perfect. As the car is aging, I want my maintenance bill to reflect it's capital value and Offord's fixed price service fits my pocket. Don't expect to come away without extra work needing to be done(it's a Cerbera after all), but they're happy to advise on what an interested owner could do themselves.
I travel about 150 miles from home for this, it's another good excuse for a run (as if any is needed!) but visit family in the area over the 2 days or so, killing 2 birds with 1 stone. They have a fleet of aging Saabs as courtesy cars, which is convenient, as I said, I highly recommend them. I hope this helps your choice, good luck.

hahaha yeah that's the other reason to go there! I had a 200k miler white one with a cracked windscreen & some mad mods - it was very fast! Wasn't there a crazier red one too?
