For the 4.2 I gather the filter is a Land Rover part ERR 3340. Has anyone had any experience of using any of the alternative makes, ie; Coopers, Britpart?
Ive used motorcraft the last two times and theres been no problem, oil pressure comes up straight away after changing it, but I do prefill the filter with oil first.
I've been told to stick with the Original Spec oil filters - I cant remember the reason he gave me (Steve Howard at Euphoria) but there is something different about them.
