what to get with £15k

A friend of mine has entrusted me with the job of finding him a Cerbera for about £15k. Trouble is despite owning a T350 I dont know much about other TVR's so any advice would be much appreciated. For example some have single round lamps, others look more like a Tuscan at the front - he likes the Tuscan look (but needs the rear seats) so is this a facelift from a certain age and which engine is he best to go for. My spped six is late 04 but I know the early ones could be trouble so is he best having a V8.

Oh and it should be a v8 4.5 around 1998,

You could allways have mine for 14k. Use the extra £1000 for a headlight conversion.

you could have my 4.2 for 12k and then buy the spare 4.5 adn gearbox and interior for £3k

If he's looking for a good Cerb, he could do a hell of a lot worse than this one:

It's owned by a well known PH'er (diddyman) and I've been out in it and it's fab - excellent condition, in a good colour and boy is it loud. Jim (diddyman) ran it no-expenses-spared as far as I know, and is a proper petrol head (he has a De Tomaso Pantera!). Very very quick as well.

It's not far from me. May not still be for sale though, but definitely worth a try for that price bracket
