I was at Leven's on Friday - Is yours the Blue one waiting for a clutch? They took it off the ramp to get mine on

No, but mine is blue!

You know what they say, Blue ones are the fastest, quite true if this one was flying in the air.

Hi, tis mine.

Had the 12k done + a few bits and pieces then then bugger me backwards the clutch went belly up whilst at garage. Only 7 fingers remain I am led to believe! Was hoping to get it back today but should be tomorrow. Since the clutch was an unscheduled breakage they were trying to fit me in around all the other work they had planned.

I had a look at your clutch - there were quite a few broken figers on it. They also showed me the new Clever trevor one they are going to fit, the fingers on the new one are a lot meatier.

Saw both of your cars when I popped round to show them the new exhaust.

BTW, I bloody hope those EBC RedStuff pads bed in because they're noisy b*stards just now.

Ah yes 11 of the 18 went. Bit of a shocker. The new clutch is good. Feels very light and smooth and changes the driving characteristics of the car. Almost made it feel docile!! I did say almost.

Apparently the clutch has been heavily tested and is shown to be strong(er) that the original.

So now I have the improved clutch and the improved slave - I just need to wait for the master to go!

Yes sorry about that there were a few gremlins. First big service leven had done with the car so obviously uncovered a few things that needed sorting...then the clutch went unexpectedly. It has ben in there since the 8th of February.

Looks very, very similar to my old car, (that I really miss) - anyone on here know about it?

I'd like it back - always regretted selling but life gets in the way sometimes. I ended up doing quite a bit of work to it.

I know my old car was partly refurbed (interior) and was up for auction a few years ago. It would be interesting to know if anyone on here had it in their care.
