Rough quarter mile times ?

just wondering what the average time for standard cars is on the quarter ? ... used to be very into drag racing but now having got the cerb i intend to explore track days a bit more but just interested ? ..

I've searched but can't seem to find too much

Your looking at around the 12 1/2sec mark.
Cyclone's has done 11.9 (I think) but that's modified.

Think Im going to be a bit more sensitive on takeoff this time, cant be doing with Cyclone1 taking the piss if i break it again. A 13.5 second run will be far better than last year's 1m34s (or thereabouts )

Still a 1m34 is not too shabby for a diesel recovery truck, did that include the loading time.

No, thats how long it took me to 'coast' to the end when the drive shaft snapped

And I managed to 'drive' it all the way back to the pits (a further 3m54s )Not sure if it was the right thing to do but a) I wasnt going to push the fcker and b) it was already broke, couldnt really get much worse

Yeah but it relies on what its told. Can a veryon really do 0-60 in 0.9 of a second and a standard quarter in 6 seconds?

I think the Veyron one might be a bit broken!! Terminal speed of 251mph after 6.17 and 0-60 in 0.9sec.

I know it's quick, but it ain't that quick!!
