Most wouldn't pay for clutches I am sure and a clutch shouldn't really be £2k.
I would rather underwrite my own costs than pay that sort of dough, to then feel screwed over when you try for a payout and fail (potentially). Who was the guy recently who had crank failure and was still unable to claim because it was deemed to be a known fault - or did they blame driver error, track day usage or something silly.

Or you could always take out the AA cover for £65, this gives you up to £500 (less £25 excess) for 5 claims per year. My local indy said that they are very good at paying up for most things! One thing of note though, this only covers you if you break down and need to be recovered by the AA......
recommend the AA one,
you read about a lot of grief with warranties which can be expensive to never claim on., and when you do its a fight
it may not cover the full bill but £500 a pop helps. Had no problem claiming when needed my clutch done last year.
always remember never take it to the garage then call the AA, you need to speak to them first. I was even recovered free of charge as well

would this be able to be extended to cover my 2nd car?
