Heater fan

Are there any other fuses/relays for the heater fan , other than the one in the boot,or has my motor just died ?

I had this last week , sounds like you too need a new heater control box which is located in the passenger footwell - thats assuming you have no hot/cold blower.

sounds probable that you have a fault with your heater control box this box controls the air con heated rear etc and hot and cold blowers and also makes the conrol knobs illuminate see if some friendly cerb owner will let you swap with theirs to prove its gone try bellhillgarage.com/ they should have second hand one. dont do what i did though make a note of which connector goes where and which way round the ribbon cable goes better still take photo

Cool(ac) fan is still working, and the hot fan is still illuminated but fan not turning , if it was the control box would it not affect both?

Could it be something simple like it's intake is blocked?

different systems. my hot air blower control is currently defunct. I have an override switch just under the control box that simply fires the hot air fan. fine for warming the cabin or demisting the screen. I think either the switch or the ribbon cable is bust, might be the same on yours see if you can get the blower to spin with a direct power feed.
