Tuscan to Cerbera

Hi all

Has anyone gone from a Cerb to a Tuscan or vice versa for that matter???

Got the chance to PX my cerb for a Tuscan, 4.0L, 2000. but my Cerb has been so well looked after i feel i can rely on it 100% and it has absolutly no faults. But i kind of see it as an upgrade, Newer, nicer colour, love the way it looks, but i don't know anything much about Tuscans and i don't want to end up with a pile of trouble.

What i really would like to know is, if anyone has owned both and how they compare, not in the cost of ownership level headed kind of way, but which one they really loved and why?

I first drove a friends Tuscan (TV05CAN) in 2004 and loved every minute. He then changed it for a brand new Tuscan2 and at the time prefered the former...(may have changed his mind since). We shared the driving on a Le-Mans trip in 2005 and had a great time...so much so that I just had to buy a tvr...any TVR. After a fairly short period and not wanting to have exactly the same car, I purchased a Cerbera 4.5 last year, and absoloutly love it. We had a great day out together last friday and to be fair there appears to be very little between them in performance. Yet today, mine is in the garage having the alternator replaced and we've spent the day thrashing around in the Tuscan which brought back many memories. HOWEVER they are two entirley diferent animals and I would strongly reccommend that you drive one first. I love them both, but they are diferent. Don't forget that nearly all TVR's have been tinkered with and each will be set up to the owners own preferences. As for a virdict...all TVR's make you smile...
