Wiper problem

Does anybody know what pins i would need 2 connect on the wiper motor to see if its dead or not(live and earth), gettin power to the plug but when i connect it to the motor it blows the fuse due to a header tank leak i think!! Need to know soon ish because its booked in for its mot on friday

The vertical pin is the earth, then use any of the two farthest pins. These should give you a drive of some sort.

Ballsy can you not get electrician to use multi meter on it

Thanks for the replys, managed to test it with a multimeter and forund its getting power to both side of the connector (the wires that were pointed out above and 3 wires on the other side) so im guessing that the motors knackered!! Gonna order one just now from a breakers
