Have prices gone up again. It seems a lot for a 98 with 43K miles?

I've used mine everyday for over 12 months, only let me down once (clutch slave cylinder)You can't beat getting into a cerb after a bad day at work, start her up and hear that exhaust!

Its bloody cheap you penny pinching lot you!!!
Stop talking cerb pricess down, you should be talking them up rather than wanting owners to sell them for peanuts. These cars cost money to run and why should a seller not get some of his money back for what he has put in.
Shame on you all, go out and thrash yourselfs with an oily dipstick.

This looks a nice car lee. Some people have said it's a bit expensive (haven't you Dave ! - that's because you got a bargain
) but lets all hope prices have started to strengthen. But also bear in mind the following....It's only after at least 6 months of ownership that you will know whether or not you bought a good one. The work that he has had done on his one almost mirrors the work that I have done on mine in the past 9 months, and most of the things I have had done are what can be classed as 'normal' faults for a Cerb. i.e Master Cylinder
Slave Cylinder
Radiator
New lights and lenses
Gearbox Rebuild (Being done at the moment)
4 New tyres
Total cost so far about £2000, plus another £1300 or so on a 6k and a 12k service including tappets. Total cost over £3k.
So buy a 'cheap' Cerb and then spend £3k on it and it doesnt seem so cheap does it. Buy an expensive one, or should I say a realistically priced one, that has had all the problems sorted, that's why we call them 'sorted' Cerbs
, and it's got a grands worth of Nitrons thrown in, and you work out for yourself which is the better sort of car to buy. c3ber said:
