Leven pedal extensions?

So, being a short arse I sit with the seat wound right forward, but I'm aware this isn't the best position for my arms for driving. I'm effectively sitting too close to the steering wheel.
This does give lots of room for my youngest to sit behind me and let the missus have lots of room by having the passenger seat right back, but I'm thinking the driving position isn't optimal for faster driving, track days etc.
I checked the pedals and whilst the brake and clutch pedal can be adjusted the throttle pedal appears fixed. Now I've seen (and read on here) about the Leven replacement pedals, including some with aditional length adjustment, and I could see I could unscrew the brake and clutch pedals but how would this work with throttle?
Or am I missing a trick here with the standard setup?

Getting on to the thread topic, like you byker28i i am a short a**e too!! and upon buying my cerbie i had the adjust the pedals and brought the set you are talking about, but i also had to buy a new pedal arm for the throttle, so i could thread the new extention pedals in! I hope this helps a bit and your racing driver position will be back to its glory!

ChrisAH so there's a different throttle arm. That would make sense
There's about two inches of travel left in the pedel extentions at present, apart from the throttle, so if I got a new throttle pedal/arm that would probably be ok.

I have the Leven pedals with extra long reach and adjustable throttle arm as I found myself too close to the wheel for my liking, despite wheel adjustment (as standard, I was catching my fingers on the top of the dash when I had moved the wheel far enough back for confort).
They are just the job. Fitting the throttle arm is not technically difficult, but somewhat fiddly and uncomfortable! It probably helps being short!

We had the Leven pedal extensions fitted to our Cerb. When we first bought it, I couldn't depress the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor 
and I could barely reach the full travel of the clutch and brake, so we had to get them really. They were really good! Made very little difference to Tam Lin, made a world of difference to me.
Recommended!

little clamp in the middle about where your knees are unless you really are Jimmy Krankie in disguise! Then it's about where your shoe lace is.

I'm 5'7" and when I shortened the wheel and the seat I couldn't change gear comfortably so bought the pedals. As someone has said, being short enough to require them is a blessing as it enables you to go inverted under the steering column with relative ease.
The kit consists of 3 extension pedals and the new throttle arm. The latter in unbelievably fiddly to fit but they all work a blinder when in - very recommended. (Good time to think about changing the throttle cable as well - mine was beginning to fray)

Luckily for me, the previous owner of my car was also a shortarse and had them fitted. They work a treat (now Ive had Austec level them up for heel and toeing )
