went out in a sagris today!

But it didnt feel as quick in a straight line as my 4.2 cerb did! sure did handle and stop well tho!

would have been intersting to actually see how they would have compared on the track. Dont think the cerb had as much rear end grip, the sag could deffo put the power down more effectively, but it didnt have the same 'punch you into the seat' feel as the ajp8 did. So gorgeous to look at tho!

Went round Croft ln the passenger seat of both. Tony from HHC, in the Saggy, and Too Tall Paul in his 5 ltr cerby. Both very quick, capable drivers. paul was definately closing in on the Saggy on the straight, IMHO there was nothing in it round the rest of the track, though i think it was easier work in the Sagaris. Hats off to both of them, a superb day.
I would think the sagaris would be easier to live with-maybe!!!!!

ooo that means my V8S is as fast as a sagaris* around croft then, cos there's nothing in the overall lap between paul's cerbera and my S. excellent!


* though in reality there is of course a massive performance gulf in every other situation

The lesson being, never under estimate the ability of V8S's . If it had been a certain Green one that whistled then I think the 'chase' would have been the other way around .
