Noise Limits - Which tracks can I use?

Just a quick one for those in the know to answer... My Cerb is pushing middle hundred and teens DB and hence too loud for most circuits 105 cutoff. The question is... is there any tracks out there that I am allowed to go for a burn on? Preferably in the South / South-East.

if you have a decat but standard back box buy some bolt on silencers and you will get away with 105db on most tracks

goodwood, castle coombe and pembury will still be out as they are circa 98-100db

I have a custom exhaust but had flanges welded after the rear silencers so the tailpipes are removable and can be replaced with a couple of modified ACT track day cans.

Always an option to have yours modified if you want to do some track time, otherwise you may have to make do with the 'suck it and see' philosophy.

I've visited quite a few venues and only had problems at two, that was with my old system which was decat with sports pipes.

Brands are normally quite relaxed about noise levels, just back off off the start/finish straight.

Ben, I bought a pair of ACT trackday silencers last year to do a trackday at Brands. Tested it on 2 other Cerbs, putting out 113dbs and 119 dbs. The silencers brought them both down to 105/106dbs.

Arrived at Brands ready to stick the silencers on, no one even looked like being worried about my car. In fact there were a couple of Fez 360 track cars howling round when I arrived that must have been noisier than mine and there was a modded Skyline on track same time as me that made your ears bleed.

The ACT silencers are coming with me/us to the Ring in a fortnight, just in case
