Anyone got any suggestions on what, where, and price?

Fed up of the fall apart OEM ones with such a floppy rear end to them that is difficult to tell when they're connected properly.

When you pull them off with the one finger that you can reach them with they fall apart.

And to make matters worse the rubber sides are such a tight fit in the recessed holes that it just adds to the problem.

Preferably solid sides to the plug end and thin enough to easily got down the holes, with a nice click to the connection please.

Anyone found the nirverna of plug leads for the Cerb?

I posted about HT leads recently, go back a few days and I think you'll find the post!

I'm now using TCS 10mm silicone leads and they are excellent!

But are they easy to put on compared to the original floppy ones?

They are more solid but still fiddly, I fitted mine this morning with next to no trouble. Some clip on soundly and a few don't seem to give that same connection to the plug end but they are connected as I found out when blasting down at A421!!!

I don't think you'll get better than the ones from TCS, I must say I was impressed with the quality and size compared to others I have fitted. They are guaranteed for 30,000 miles and on a Cerbera that'll be a life time at 2k miles per year for me!

I've just fitted a TCS set to my 4.5, seem very good - though are a very tight fit down the plug holes.
A good dose of WD40 was needed round the outside-bottom of the plug cap befor they clicked home with satisfaction.
Jules at TCS recommends using 4.2 leads on a 4.5 ( there routed round the back of the cam boxes, instead of over them ) because of the thickness...10mm. Quality seems exellent. Mine no longer has a firework display under the bonnet now!!!.

sorry didn't understand that, what do you mean by the back of the cam boxes.

My current standard plugs don't even pass between the cam cover and the water rail without a fight.

Std 4.5 plug leads come over the top of the cam covers and pass between the coolant rail and the head.
Because of the extra thickness of the TCS leads(10mm), Jules at TCS recommends using the longer 4.2 spec leads(still 10mm). Apparently 4.2s use longer leads that pass around the rear of the cam covers (near the bulkhead)and not trying to force the leads (which are less flexable due to their thickness) through the gap behind the coolant rail. It worked for me, i did what Jules advised and tidied things up with a few zippy ties .
I found it quite easy - though i had taken off the fuel rail/injectors , because i have hands like shovels!!
Whilst i had every thing off , i checked & cleaned everything. Ended up replacing a coil ,there was a gap between the insulation and the sides, and did the big fuse whilst i was there. Give Julian a call - he's got to be one of the most helpfull people on planet Cerbera.bow. Hope this is clearer and is of some help.

Had no problem fitting the leads through the gap between the rocker covers and coolant pipes on mine. Took her out again this morning after a quick adjustment to a throttle pot using the lap top! Blimmey she's quick!!
