i think my Cerbera is trying to tell me something .. help ?

so its kinda up for sale ( .. whole other story), had to go out on Saturday and it was a lovely day so i thought i'd take the Cerb ...

Get in the car on saturday ... pull out of the drive and turned right on to the main road up to about 2k revs, Mil light flashes and the car starts bunnyhopping, revs up and down .. so i pull over. Switch engine off ... think ummmm i don't think this car wants to leave me .. start it up again and try to move forward, revs all over the place then after a few seconds they gently start to die down and it cuts out. Oil Pressure was spot on at 70 as it always is and i'd checked my oil level the day before.

So bear in mind im now on the other side of a 2 laned busy A road i had to push the bloody thing myself in a big u turn and back into my drive. Cars backed up for hundreds of yards but not one person helped (thanks to the lovely people of Cheadle!!) ...

The car had been washed a day or so earlier, prior to that it had spent one night out in the rain last week although i have driven it since then. Im thinking its something along the lines of : -

1.Lambda sensor
2.some other kind of Air / fuel mixture sensor
3.Water in the coils
4.Water in or around the ECU connector thingy ?
5.Big Fuse (hell its worth changing anyway )
6.all of the above
7.none of the above
8.my car is alive and is trying to tell me something?

Its definitely something up with the breathing i think ..

So im off to PC world later to get a connector thingy .. plug in my old laptop and see what Mr unhappy Cerbera is trying to tell me. What amazes me about this car is i don't mind if it has a problem .. i just see it as a little challenge and all part and parcel of owning them

I'll post up the results from the software .. i may need your help on this one chaps as i don't know what the readings should be if all is well etc ..

Agree with you on the no-one helping front. - I have had people openly laughing and sneering! Toerags just love it when someone in a fancy car breaks down!

sorry cant help the question, but thought id say when i picked my cerb up for the 1st time in the middle of Kingston, I stalled it coming out the T junc and the batt was flat! New car and all on a blind bend! argh!!! Anyway...two blokes ran over and gave me a push to bump start it thank god! So had to say not everyone is as cruel as they were to you!
