Does anyone know what radiators are in the 1999 Cerbera 4.5 with aircon? Are they a proprietory make or TVR only? I could do with picking one up next week if someone stocks them. I rather not repair it as will probably only go again.
Hope you can help.

I took mine to autocool in Chesterfield a couple of years ago, they did a fantastic job repairing and upgrading it, the thing looked like brand new when they had finished, not had a spot of trouble with it since.
If you want brand new, then have a word with Joolz at www.track-car-solutions.co.uk or Richard at RT Racing.
Or go to your local TVRCC meet at www.tvrcc-south-yorks.co.uk and ask around.

Thanks Kevin, I'll give both of them a ring on Tuesday...What's the flip up screen in your car? Is it sat nav or tv etc? I'm looking for a decent sat nav with speed camera warning and would prefer if it was combined with the radio etc. Nice pad by the way!

It is a Kenwood unit, I have not got Sat nav on it but it can do Sat nav, TV, Play station, DVD, CD, Mp3, rear reverse camera and a few other things, but I only use it to play MP3 off of the DVD, theres about 1000 tracks on the one DVD at the moment.

Oh and I am pleased to say that's not my house, the heating bill would be too large.

Before this question dies a natural death to the next page, does anyone know if its a TVR part or Range Rover/similar?

As far as I know is it *BASED* on a rover part but with modifications. I had mine recored a while ago and I think the chap said it was based on rover internals.

Hope this helps in some way.

I had mine done at Gloucester Radiator Specialists, they specialise in TVR Rads (they did 100 TVR rads last year so they know what they are talking about). The Radiator is based on a Land Rover Radiator but the core itself is very different, the guy there said that some Radiator re core firms who dont know TVR's, simply re-core it based on the original Land Rover design, so it may come back looking like new, but it will be to the wrong specification. Since having mine done my temperature gauge reads 10 degrees lower than it used too so I am very pleased with it. It cost me £150 by the way.

Thanks everyone. Radiator has been recored and installed but i've lost one of the bleedscrews off the top of the engine while filling the system(the ones with the floating wing nuts). Are these standard motor parts? Do you know of a supplier or replacment?

Found it...when you unscrew these things they go in not out. So the missing part was not on the garage floor it was inside the plumbing all the time. Luckily managed to extract it.

Looks like it is running cooler. Off to the lake District this friday for the week end, so crossing fingers. Thanks for all your help.

Just a suggestion, if you have no joy, I found Kempston Radiators to be very good. Friendly, helpfull and good value.
