You're spot on with the reg, but I've bought the car with "X258BPB" on.
Is there anything much you can tell me about it ?
P.s., I've also got P666TVR, but I've get every receipt for that, including it's order at the 93 motorshow.

I get the feeling theres another brummy as intent on keeping a Cerbera as we are, glad to hear it! Still cant believe we havent yet crossed paths on the roads of Birmingham though, its not as if the whole of the city cant hear us through the queensway.

It was a fair old jaunt down there, so I need to get it on A weekend. The old girl's escorting me to Germany this weekend, then I pick up the new mistress the following Saturday.
Any how, the new one's got a Nurburgring sticker on the back, so she looks like she's had her go already.
Cosmetically the new one could benefit with having a front end spray & the spiders could do with a refurb. I'm sure the exhaust is the same as your old sports one, which I like the sound of. Mechanically, we'll wait & see.
Exciting couple of Saturday's coming up, can't wait

)Well done sir! you have bought my beloved cerb, I hope you enjoy her as much as i did. I am glad that someone on here has bought it, I sold it cheap to the trade, and I am pleased that he sold it also at a discounted price. The car was looked after regerdless of cost!
That number plate was of course my private plate, and goes with me from car to car.

Just to add to this post, i left the de-cat pipes in the boot, just make sure they are in there when you pick her up, that exhust is a one off, and cost over £2000, so just make sure those pipes are there! and yes that stainless bar behind the seat was for a child seat, the seat, oh hell it was taken out when I test drove her and forgot to pick it up afterwards, fernies had it! and the wife was not in the mood to fill it up again ha ha ha .

I didn't see anything in the boot, I'll ask the seller if he's still got them.
Excuse me getting confused, are you saying the cats are fitted at the moment, and there's some bypass pipes for them ?
Can we not tempt you in to bringing the Monaro to the ring this weekend ?

Yes that is right the cats are in, and the bypass pipes i wrapped them up in a plastic woven sack in the boot, so yes, please ask for them.
Noise wise it is manic with the cats out, so I had them replaced and the ecu remaped accordingly which made her an excellent road car.
You are right she does need just a couple of things doing to her as her service is almost due, but not a lot, she just needs new intake hoses.
I can see you have been doing your homework, yes traded her for a new VXR Monaro, and have had Wortec uprate her to 430 bhp. Oh why didn't they fit that engine into a TVR ?????
The ring, I wish, just need to put a few miles on this baby first, you see I still like to run an engine in, that is what happens when you get to my age!
The Cerb was featured on German TV about three years ago, as I was there at the same time as the F1 Superbikes, and yes at that time she was catless and mapped, and the bikes were no match for her.

I only took it a short distance, so probably didn't get any higher than third, but i gave it a couple of revs in second gear, and was surprisingly impressed with the response.
Once I've sold the old one, I'll have some spare cash to throw at it, I'll take it up to Joospeed and let him have a fiddle with it.
The seller told me about the Monaro by the way.

Half expected you to phone me last night, well what a revalation, cerbie's been sold!
Well the supplying garage would not have the cerb there at any price as they were worried that all and sundry would try to race the arse off of it. So it was arranged that the buying garage would pick it from me, and drive it back themselves, this was the first that the buyer had seen of the car as he bought it over the phone, and could not believe his luck, Oh dear what have I done?????
So back to your point, They took her away on monday the 2nd of April, and sold her by ???? lucky buggers, hey ho, thats the way it goes.
