Stainless steel bar behind passenger seat

I went to see A Cerb the other day, and whilst driving, I looked down behind the passenger seat, and noticed a big stainless steel tube coming across.

I think it stretched from the left side of the car, to the transmission tunnel.

God knows, how the rear passenger is supposed to get in.

I forgot to ask the seller, what it was.

Any ideas please ?

It's for the TVR child seat option in the Cerb.

It's screwed through the transmission tunnel and the footwell, so it will leave a mark when removed, however you can remove the bar and just leave the locating parts in situ.
