Nearside rear anti-rollbar.

Had a knocking noise from the nearside rear at slow speed on rough ground for a while, thought it was just the exhaust. Eventually got fed up with it so jacked the car up, had a swing on the exhaust, nothing. Had a look at the suspension , nope not there either, looked higher up at the chassis rail and oh SH one T! 
Of course getting it off to clean it up meant snapping the mntg bolt off.
With the top mntg completely seperated from the chassis this had put undue strain on the bottom mntg point which had also started to crack. Still all back together now, welding was a bit of a worry though with rubber fuel lines and the filter which just happen to reside under the wheel arch.
The moral of the story? Do not assume that knocking is "just" the exhaust.
