Saw an advertisement on PH about Bosch Super 4 performance sparkplugs type FR78. They promised a lot from these things. Read a sparplug question from another enthousiast asking wether he should use Iridium type NGK sparkplugs (BKR5EIX-11).

I've only driven a few short miles in my 4,2 cerbera, because I still have to pass the dutch approvals. I noticed though that my Cerb does backfire when get my foot of the throttle. Maybe that's what you english guys mean by misfire as was stated in the previous gassing topic?

Question is: what is the best sparkplug to use and does anyone have experience with the Bosch sparplugs?

And...(I still did not take a good look at the plugs)do you need to adjust a certain sparkplug gap or is it another type of plug where you do not have to do anything?

I've used them all, and haven't noticed any difference. Save your money and buy the standard plugs.

You can even buy the BKR 5EK (without the 'U' heat rating) for cheaper, and still works fine.
